Amazing Anti-mist film
Ultimate had been searching for many years to find an integrally anti-misted OPP that could perform as well as film where the anti-mist has been applied as a separate coating
A whole array of films had been tested but were all inferior. Eventually Innovia developed a film that gave the correct performance and we trialled it.
The results were excellent and Ultimate now has exclusive rights to the film. 30 micron film is currently being supplied to several major salad packers
Integrally anti-misted film offers several benefits:
Better hot-tack properties, often allowing machines to run faster; seals at slightly lower temperatures; no banding of the anti-fog in the back-seal areas; gives better seals when used for MAP; removes an extra process for us giving improved turn-round time of orders; much smaller carbon footprint than imported films.
